We have had a productive winter this year, we have built a new laundry onto the side of the house and added a bit more space for us. The guest lounge has a lovely new carpet and there has been lots of decorating going on too.

A humpback whale visited Slapton Sands for several weeks with her baby, feeding on the sprats and mackerel. She was accompanied by seals and porpoises regularly too. I had to laugh when I heard some locals were off to Canada to go whale watching!

Spring is undoubtedly here with all the daffodils on show along with the forget-me-nots, primroses, camellia and helebores, the garden is looking very pretty already. Fingers crossed the tulips will make an appearance for Easter.
